Privacy Policy

Omnvert is designed to be fast and privacy-first. We only collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and never sell your data or show third-party ads.

1) Files you upload

  • Your files (e.g., PDF, DOCX, images, PCAP) are processed transiently to perform the requested conversion or analysis.
  • Processing runs on our servers (e.g., LibreOffice/TShark). Unless explicitly stated, files are not retained after the result is produced.
  • We do not use your content to train models or for marketing.

2) Metrics & cookies

We use first-party, non-identifying cookies to count unique visitors:

  • uc_vid (1 year): a random visitor ID to compute daily/weekly/monthly unique counts.
  • uc_seen_YYYY-MM-DD (1 day): prevents double counting on the same day.

We do not use third-party analytics pixels. Basic server logs may include IP, user-agent, and timestamps for security/debugging and are rotated.

3) Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract: to process your files and deliver results.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and measure aggregate usage.
  • Consent: where local law requires consent for cookies, we rely on your continued use as consent to essential metrics cookies.

4) Retention

  • Uploaded files: deleted after conversion completes (or within a short window for reliability).
  • Metrics (unique visits): stored as daily aggregates; typical retention up to 13 months.
  • Security logs: short-term, for abuse prevention and diagnostics.

5) Security

Transport encryption (HTTPS), least-privilege access, and periodic updates. No absolute security can be guaranteed.

6) Sub-processors

We may use hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., a cloud VM provider or CDN). We do not share files or metrics with ad networks.

7) Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data where applicable (GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA). Contact us at kaantokali1@gmail.com.

8) Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not upload children’s personal data.

9) Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll adjust the “Last updated” date and, if material, provide a prominent notice.
