This Cookie Policy explains how Omnvert ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage) when you visit our website. It complements our Privacy Policy and, for users in Türkiye, the KVKK Disclosure Notice.
1) What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as your consent choice), enable security features, measure usage, and — when you allow — show personalized advertising. Local storage is a related browser technology that keeps data on your device without sending it to any server.
2) Cookies and local storage we actually use
Omnvert's own application code does not set any cookies. Every cookie on this site comes from the consent tool or the third-party services listed below, and our tools store some preferences in your browser's local storage (never sent to our servers):

We do not use any other analytics pixels or tracking cookies beyond the table above.
2.1 Advertising (Google AdSense)
Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to:
- Show ads relevant to your interests (personalized advertising), if you consent.
- Show non-personalized contextual ads if you do not consent (in regions where consent is required).
- Measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and limit the number of times you see the same ad.
Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage personalization at adssettings.google.com and opt out of third-party vendor cookies via aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
3) Third-party services on our site
- Google AdSense and its certified partners — advertising, frequency capping and fraud prevention.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic measurement (consent-gated in consent-required regions).
- Grow.me (Mediavine Grow) — optional engagement widget (consent-gated in consent-required regions).
- CDN / hosting infrastructure — content delivery and security at the network level.
4) Your choices
- Consent banner: On first visit from the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a banner lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. In those regions you can change your decision anytime by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Visitors in Türkiye and other regions: the European banner is not shown, but you can turn off ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will likely break parts of the site.
- Local storage: Clear it from your browser's site-data settings at any time; the tools will simply forget your saved preferences.
5) Legal basis (GDPR, UK GDPR, KVKK)
- Strictly necessary cookies — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; KVKK Article 5(2)(f)).
- Functional, analytics, advertising cookies — your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; KVKK Article 5(1) — explicit consent for non-essential processing).
- For users in Türkiye, KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) governs personal data processing. Advertising and analytics cookies are used as described in this policy; you can opt out of ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and manage cookies from your browser at any time. 6) Retention
- Consent decision (Google consent tool): about 13 months, then you are asked again.
- Analytics cookies (_ga): up to 24 months.
- Advertising cookies: set by Google and its partners; typically up to 13 months.
- Local storage: stays on your device until you clear it.
7) Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or applicable laws change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
