Privacy Policy
Last updated: Jul 13, 2026
Omnvert is designed to be fast and privacy-first. We only collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and never sell your data. The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense; the contents of files you upload are never shared with any ad network. This policy explains exactly what is processed, by whom, and how you can exercise your rights. It should be read together with our Cookies Policy and, for KVKK (Türkiye), the KVKK Disclosure Notice.
Data controller
The service is operated by Kaan Tokali (independent developer, Türkiye). Contact: kaantokali1@gmail.com.
1) Files you upload
- Your files (e.g., PDF, DOCX, images, audio, PCAP) are processed transiently to perform the requested conversion or analysis.
- Many lightweight tools run entirely in your browser and never upload anything. Heavier jobs (e.g., FFmpeg audio, LibreOffice document conversion, OCR, TShark packet analysis) run on our servers. Each tool page shows which model applies in its footer badge.
- Server-processed files are kept in short-lived temporary storage and deleted after the result is produced (or within a short reliability window).
- We do not use your content to train models or for marketing, and we never share file contents with advertisers or any other third party.
2) Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to measure aggregate usage. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and similar). In regions where consent is required (EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland), these cookies are only set after you consent via the cookie banner. Basic server logs may include IP, user-agent, and timestamps for security/debugging and are rotated. The full cookie inventory is in the Cookies Policy.
3) Advertising (Google AdSense)
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Where consent is required and has not been given, only non-personalized (contextual) ads are shown; these still use limited cookies or similar technologies for frequency capping and fraud prevention as described by Google.
- In regions where the consent banner is shown (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland), you can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; elsewhere, use Google Ads Settings and your browser's cookie controls.
4) Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR / KVKK)
- Performance of a contract: to process your files and deliver results.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and measure aggregate usage.
- Consent: for advertising and analytics cookies in regions where consent is required. Consent is collected through the cookie banner (Google-certified consent management) and can be withdrawn at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
5) Retention
- Uploaded files: deleted after conversion completes (or within a short window for reliability).
- Analytics data: aggregate reports; Google Analytics retention is limited per its configuration (typically up to 14 months).
- Security logs: short-term, for abuse prevention and diagnostics.
6) Security
Transport encryption (HTTPS), least-privilege access, and periodic updates. No absolute security can be guaranteed.
7) Recipients & sub-processors
- Google (AdSense) — advertising on the site (see section 3).
- Google (Analytics) — aggregate usage measurement (see section 2).
- Grow.me (Mediavine) — optional engagement widget; loads only with consent in regions where consent is required.
- Hosting / CDN infrastructure — the servers and content-delivery network that run the site. They process network-level data (IP addresses, requests) as processors on our behalf.
- We do not share files or file contents with any ad network or analytics provider.
8) Affiliate & sponsored links
Some pages show clearly labelled sponsored links (for example, an Etsy product in the sidebar marked "Sponsored link"). These links may support the site financially. They cost you nothing extra, and no personal data is shared with the linked merchant by clicking — the destination site's own privacy policy applies once you are there.
9) Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data where applicable (GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA/KVKK). For KVKK-specific rights (Art. 11) and how to apply, see the KVKK Disclosure Notice. Contact us at kaantokali1@gmail.com.
10) Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not upload children's personal data.
11) Changes
We may update this policy; we'll adjust the "Last updated" date and, if material, provide a prominent notice.
